She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, a member of Valley EHC and loved to quilt, crochet, and needlepoint.
Survivors include; her mother Thelma Glennon Ellis of the Valley community; one brother, Royce Ellis and wife, Margie of the Valley community; two nieces, Kristie Best and husband Tommy of Hermitage and Anita Poole of Yukon, OK; one nephew, Alan Newton of Montgomery, AL; two great nieces and two great nephews.
