James Louis Henry, Sr., 80, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at his home. He was born December 26, 1930 in Chicot County, AR.

He was a retired Masonry Contractor, a Mason and a Baptist. He was the son of the late Richard Allen Henry and Alma Dunn Hodges Henry and was preceded in death by one son, James Louis Henry, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mauryne Blasingame Henry of Monticello; one son, Ruel Henry, Sr. and wife, Brenda of Bastrop, LA; daughter-in-law, Karen Henry of Hot Springs; one brother, Robert Henry of McGehee; two sisters, Frankie Rakich of Las Vegas, NV and Mittie Bloomingdale of Star City; six grandchildren, Kristi Henry, Carey Henry, Courtney Henry, Casey Henry, Ruel Henry, Jr. and Ariel Henry; and five great-grandchildren.
