Boyd Mack Naron, Sr. age 80, of Monticello passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 at The Woods Rehab and Nursing Facility in Monticello. He was born May 29, 1930 in Line, AR to the late Claude Alphus Naron and Linnie Pearl Griffin Naron. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Jerry Mearle Donaldson Naron; one daughter, Patricia Marlene Naron Irons; one brother, Richard Thomas Naron; and two sisters, Joyce Marie Naron Ricks and Nina June Naron Cameron.

He was a retired Vietnam War U.S. Air Force Veteran, a 32nd degree Mason, loved building furniture, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member of Old Troy Baptist Church.

Survivors include; his wife Linda Anne Hoppers Naron of Monticello; three sons, Boyd Mack Naron, Jr. of Sacramento, CA, Edward Morris Naron of Monticello and Adrian Mitchell Naron of Houston Texas; one brother, Herman Leroy Naron of Montgomery, AL; one sister, Dorothy Ann Naron Pledger of Caddo Gap, AR; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
