He was a former truck driver and pipe line worker, U. S. Army Veteran and a member of Wilmar Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Tipton Paul Wear and Viola Boyd Wear and was preceded in death by his stepfather, Herman Adair and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, James Michael Wear and wife, Allison, of Monticello and Logan Cole Wear of Whitney, TX; two daughters, Stephanie Bonsey and husband, Hollis, of Branson, MO and Amber McClellan and husband, Danny, of Whitney, TX; one sister, Mary Mitchell of Warren; eight grandchildren, Bailey, Peyton, Alyssa, Caleb, Zachary, Kilee, Garrett and Gavin.
