Crossett, AR Tuesday, November 15, 2011 Sorry to read about Bob in the paper today. Bill, I will always remember playing ball at your house on your outside goal and going to UAM's swimming pool with you two. Hope all is well with the rest of the family. Also Bill, I met your son that is the state trooper. He came to my catfish restaurant one night to eat and I told him about living next to you and going to school with you. Seemed like a nice young man. I also enjoyed reading Mr. Moss letters in the newspaper. If you are ever in Crossett, look me up, I am in the phone book.Gary McCullars

Tyler, TX Tuesday, November 15, 2011 Although my name isn't "Margaret", that's how Robert would always greet me. I can't believe that I won't ever hear this moniker again with a random phone from my dear friend and neighbor for many years. Robert was my computer guru and always made time to help me out with my technological issues as I attempted to master the internet and keep my hardware from crashing. Robert was such a fighter in his battle to conquer his health problems. Spending time with him in the ER on many occasions made me realize what a warrior he was and how very blessed I am to enjoy good health. The thing that I admired most about Robert was that he lived the life of a true Christian. He was all about being a proper Presbyterian and answered the call to be a deacon at First Presbyterian of Tyler. He took his ordination to that position seriously and worked many hours on the Congregational Care Committee making sure that other church members recieved birthday cards or sympathy cards or just a friendly phone call or email. He loved his family and shared many stories of them with me. Gena was the only sibling that I met in person but I feel as if I knew all of his family. Robert was a lover of classic TV and old time rock 'n roll. Even with his recent catastrophic health demise, his big concern was for his father. My tears today are for myself and Robert's family as I know that Robert is now in the care of his Lord and hopefully, in the presence of his dear dear mother who will not have to worry about her boy being gravely ill any longer. Robert was my special friend... I will never forget his goodness and I will miss him always. May love, joy and peace be with the Moss family today and in the days to come.Dennis Wells

Monticello, AR Monday, November 14, 2011 I am so sorry for your loss. He will truely be missed. My family and I have many funny memories with him. Our kids Abigail and Zoey adored him as he adored our kids. I keep thinking about how everytime I would call and say Hey he would say Hay is for horses and laugh. He always gave our little girls an orange crush in a bottle everytime he seen them. There was a few occasions he would come to the house to just visit. We are going to miss these visits. Your family and friends are in our prayers! If ya'll need anything let us know!Connie Holland
