Sitka, AK Tuesday, November 15, 2011 I am Etta Bell's (Irene's sister) daughter here in Alaska. Auntie Irene came and helped my mother after my birth by taking care of my sisters Tena and Elaine even though she had young ones of her own to take care of. My mom almost died having me and Auntie Irene rushed to her side to help her sister and nieces because she was such a generous and loving sister to our mom and auntie to us! We have kept in touch with her on the internet and will miss her wonderful sence of humor and loving support. We lost our mom when she was only in her 40s so Auntie Irene was very special to us! Many thanks to her family for sharing her with us!! I hope her "stepping over" was gentle and I know she has her arms wrapped around her family because they were her biggest joy!!Jacqueline Maltsberger
Daleville, MS Monday, November 14, 2011 "I cried when you passed away. I cry still today. Although I love you dearly, I couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me he only takes the best." I Love You Grandma and you will be dearly missed
