She was a retired Quality Control Auditor with Burlington Industries, a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Edward Carter.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Carpenter of Wilmar; one daughter, Robin Adair Arnold and husband, Chip of El Dorado; a step daughter, Haley Shaver of Fountain Hill; a step son, Shelby Carpenter of Fountain Hill; two sisters, Angie Schaper of Denver, CO and Jane Skowronski of Warren; six grandchildren, Heather, Catelynn, Brookelyn, Madison, Zackery and Kelsie; and many other relatives and friends.
