He was an operating engineer, operating heavy equipment on pipeline construction and was a Christian. He was the son of the late Mary Jenkins and was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Hudgens Jenkins, one son, Brian Jenkins and one sister, Judy Bright.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Russell Jenkins of Monticello; two sons, Tony Jenkins and wife, Jennifer of Monticello and Jeff Hudgens and wife, Milca of Maumelle; one daughter, Tina Jarvis and husband, Brent of Benton; three brothers, Tommy Jenkins and Ruben Jenkins, both of Helena and Charlie Jenkins of Alabama; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
