She was a retired store owner, a Baptist and was also preceded in death by three sons, Harold, Doyle and Robert Wells; a daughter, Charlotte Ann Wells; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two half sisters, Kathleen Rawls and Verdell Halsey both of Monticello; three grandsons, Timothy, Terry and Tony Wells; six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
