    Ronnie and family,
I send my condolences to you. It's very hard to lose your mother. It was only about a month ago that I saw her quilting at the Sr. Citizens room and told her how fortunate she was to be able to see to make those small stitches. She will be missed.

Marvelle, Wilma, Ronnie - how I wanted to be there with you all during this difficult time! Your mother was such a gracious and dear lady that will not only be greatly missed by you (and all the family members) but also by the church family, Sr. Center group, Neighbors. We are never ready to give anyone up, but can rejoice that she is now with those gone on before. Through the years she has been not only a good friend, but an inspiration to me a younger sister. Today we received her last card and letter to us, describing what a wonderful day she had on Saturday with Ronnie and looking forward to Wilma's arrival in a few days. She lived each day to the fullest, putting others first in her life, leaving nothing undone. Praise the Lord for her inner strength and faithfulness.! William & Martha

To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die. May the fond memories bring each of you comfort. I loved running into Ms Sallie when I was in town. She would always bring me up to date on each of you. She was such a sweet and loving lady and lady she was with her big words. At least when I was little they seemed like such big words. I have fond memories of playing with Paul and his monkey, watching Johnny Carson with Ronnie, and of Wilma and Marvelle at church. You all can be proud to have a mother like Ms Sallie. She was so special to so many people. She will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Sue Dye Taylor, Nellie Dye Chambers, Nancy Dye Trantham and James Dye.

Ms Ham was such a sweet and lovely person. She was just like a family member to the Lewis family. My parents always looked out for her when ever she was out of town. They did her yard work, threw her newspaper , and made sure the dogs and cats were fed for many years. Ms. Ham attended both my parents' funeral and she always cooked a good dish that was delicious. I am going to miss her because she could always lift your spirit if you were having a bad day. The one thing about Ms Ham is that she knew the lord and was a faithful member of her church. The Barkada community will really miss her. To her family, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5,6
