Mrs. Reddin was my 5th grade teacher in 1964-65. She was one of my favorites. She expected alot from her students, but in return we learned alot. too. We were so fortunate to have so many wonderful teachers at W. C. Whaley and Mrs. Reddin was one of best. To me, see was at the top with Mrs. Jane Garrett and Mrs. Velma Bulloch. I always enjoyed running into her around town over the past years. See always had a sweet smile and kind words for me. I have really missed her after she moved.

Alieta was a joy to know. She was a fine neighbor and a wonderful Sunday School teacher. I enjoyed visiting with her while she, patiently, taught me how to play bridge.
  3. Susan McClain Musick
Mrs. Reddin was my fifth grade teacher. I remember her as a strict but very effective teacher. She always told me that I was the first 'Susan' that she taught.

Mrs. Reddin was my 5th grade teacher in 1963-64. She was one of my favorite all time teachers. I liked her class because it was no nonsense, and she had control over behavior problems. Thus, great learning in a non-chaotic environment, from a really sweet lady. She had high expectations from her students, and I thrived on that! A model teacher. I enjoyed running in to her from time to time when she was still in Monticello. My prayers to her family.

Your mother was my 4th grade teacher many years ago at W. C. Whaley Elementary School in Monticello. She was a wonderful person and a dedicated teacher who touched the lives of many people. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

To my misfortune, I was a student for such a short time. Sadly, I moved on to high school.
Her cool, calm temperament has stuck with me over the years. She was indeed a beautiful woman, inside and out and a bright star to her profession. May the family find peace in knowing that she left her mark on her students.

    To the Reddin Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time. I have many memories of Ms. Alieta growing up. Seeing her at First Baptist and at my grandmother's home (Marnell VanCleave). She was a sweet and loving lady. Heaven received an angel.

Your mother also taught me in the 5th grade many years ago.I believe she was one of the those teachers who definitely made an impact on shaping the future of so many students. She actually came to our 30th year class reunion(class of 74) a few years ago. She told me our class was just one of those classes you didn't foreget. I hoped that was a good thing. My prayers are with your family .

Your mother taught me in the 5th grade over 40 years ago and I believe she was one of the those individuals who come into your life and shape your future. She was a stern educator but she also showed lots of love and concern to the entire class. I would see your mother around town and she had a smile and kind words of greeting. My mother was a co-teacher with her and they had a wonderful professional relationship. May you find peace in knowing she is in a better place.
