Nellie Rae Duncan, age 85, of Monticello passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at her home in Monticello. She was born October 2, 1926 to the late Gideon Samuel and Sophronia E. Ethridge Lockridge of Hampton, AR. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

She was the widow of Robert Eugene Duncan, her husband of fifty five years. Nellie was a retired bookkeeper, a very gifted seamstress and a member of First Baptist Church, Monticello.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Barnett and husband Don of Monticello, Ruth Ann Clayton and husband Jack, of Mountain Home, and Judy Stevens and husband Frank, of Spring, TX; one sister, Edna Blann of El Dorado; four grandchildren, Chris Barnett and wife Darla, Duncan Clayton and finance', Andrenna , Major Nicole Stoneburg, USAF and husband John and Victoria Green and husband Ben; six great-grandchildren, Maggie and Rachel Barnett and Hailey, Heidi, Hillary, Elliott Stoneburg, and many nieces and nephews.

An informal visitation will be held at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral home Wednesday, August 22 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
