Clarence Allen Temple, age 84, of Johnsville, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012, at the Wagnon Place Nursing Home in Warren. He was born May 30, 1928 in Johnsville, AR to the late George Olen and Thelma Marie Weir Temple.

Clarence was a retired farmer and a member of the Palestine Methodist Church in Johnsville. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Dail Caplinger Temple; an infant daughter; a son, Tony Allen Temple; three brothers, Beva Temple, Joe Temple, Robert Temple and a sister, Dora Temple Phillips.

Survivors include; his wife, Lille Bell Thompson Temple of Johnsville; two daughters, Sharon Temple Burks and husband Carl of Laurel, MS and Lisa Williams Kennedy of Birmingham, AL; one son, Bob Williams and wife Nichole of Warren; three brothers, James B. Temple and wife Betty of Whitehall, Gillis Temple and wife Frances of Bella Vista and Thomas Temple of Fairfield Bay; two grandchildren, David Nicholas Burks and Heather Marie Burks of Hattiesburg, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
