He was a retired trucker, a Mason, United States Army Veteran and was a member of the Pauline Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. McKenzie loved to watch Nascar and wrestling.
Survivors include his best friend, Carol McKenzie of Monticello; two daughters, Amy Outlaw and Pam Tacker both of Monticello; five sons, Grady Lynn McKenzie of Kansas City, KS, Todd Bowles and Tim Tacker both of Monticello, Tommy McKenzie and Charles McKenzie both of Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers, Johnny McKenzie and Joel McKenzie both of Mississippi; three sisters, Ann Haun of Houston, TX, Vertie McKenzie and Marie McKenzie both of Mississippi; eleven grandchildren, Dylan, McKenzie, Daniel, Austin, Dallas, Timothy, Timber, Mattie, Shayna, Caleb and Alyssa; and one great grandchild, Brayden.
