On Thursday, September 19, 2013 the Lord called Willie Dale Pete home to be released from her suffering. Willie Dale Pete was born in Drew County on November 27, 1939 to John A. Green and Atlee Lambert Green. She departed this life at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.

She was a homemaker and joined Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church in Lacey at an early age. She was united in matrimony to Houston Pete at a young age, to which two children was born. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Houston Pete and one daughter, Georgia Dee Pete.

Survivors include one son, Cecil Pete of Indianapolis, IN; two granddaughters, Shennoan Daniels and Sandra Daniels, both of Conway; two grandsons, Terrell Pete of Little Rock and Marcello Collins with U. S. Army; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Eula Mae Daniels and Georgia Green, both of Monticello; two brothers, Earnest Green and wife, Lillie and Columbus Green and wife, Carolina, both of Monticello; her step father, Tyree Riley of Monticello; a special friend, Cynthia Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
