Henry Curtis Crook, 79, of Monticello, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at Drew Memorial Hospital. He was born June 9, 1934 in Monticello, the son of the late Charles Homer Crook and Blanche Irene Sawyer Crook.

He was the retired owner of J & H Garage and Body Shop, auto repair and wrecker service and was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Hayes and Charlene Waymire.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Oledia Barnard Crook of Monticello; one son, David T. Crook and wife, Cindy of Hot Springs; one daughter, Patricia Diane Deaton and husband, Eddy of Monticello; one brother, Jerry Crook of Monticello; three granddaughters, Laci Harris and husband, Dustin, Kari Harris and husband, C. J. and Lindsey Watson and husband, Ryan; three great grandsons, Crayton, Parker and Tanner; two step grandsons, Chance Meeks and Nick Deaton, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
