Olive Branch, MS Thursday, November 27, 2014 So sorry to hear of your loss. Just got to thinking about the Fergusons on this Thanksgiving Day. I was shocked to read the obit. I may be late, but my prayers are with you.Nancy Wallace Polisky
Grand Prairie, TX Saturday, November 23, 2013 I just received and reviewed my Monticello paper and saw the obituary of Bro. Jack. Just wanted to tell you how much he meant to my family and how very much we appreciated him participating in the funeral of my mother, Berneyce Wallace, only a couple of years ago. Our dad, Robert, used to say that if Bibles were ever banned, he wanted to stay close to Bro. Jack because "he has memorized more scripture than anyone I know. That man IS a walking Bible." And, Mrs. Ruth, you spent time talking to my daughter at the gravesite of Mother and shared your liver transplant experience after learning that she, too, was facing the same. You looked the same as I remembered you years ago and was still energetic and full of life! The conversation with you gave her a lot of encouragement and surely enough, only three months later, she received her call that it was time. She, too, had no complications and is enjoying her "new" life and grandchildren. I regret that you've had the loss of Bro. Jack's physical presence, but appreciate the great "Homecoming" that we'll all have someday! May God continue to bless you and may you feel His love and comfort now more than ever before! Thinking of you with fondness...Nancy Wallace PoliskyRobert Alan McDaniel

Wilmar, AR Monday, November 11, 2013 Bro. Jack left a lasting impression after serving as Interim Pastor at Wilmar Baptist Church in 1990. We were amazed how many scriptures he had memorized during his lifetime. Most of us thought he could quote the whole Bible and thought he was going to during some of his sermons! He and Miss Ruth will always be remembered by our family.
