She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal. She was the daughter of the late Doc Wilson Slaughter and Louetta Pruitt Slaughter.
Survivors include one son, Glen Pamplin, Sr. and wife, Margaret, of Snyder; one daughter, Mary Addington and husband, Richard, of Hamburg; one brother, Bobby Slaughter of Hamburg; four sisters, Marion Streeter of Hamburg, Ruby Cain of Snyder, Barbara Kirkland of Tucaloosa, AL and Estelle Griffen of Greenville, MS; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
