She was the widow of Charlie Nichols, a homemaker and Presbyterian. She was the daughter of the late Nelson Brown and Mary Bagley Brown and was preceded in death by two sons, an infant and Chesley Russell, one granddaughter, Mandy Graves and one grandson, Joseph Adcock.
Survivors include three sons, Rueal Russell of Prattville, AL, Benford Nichols of Monticello and Jamie Nichols Fore of Florida; two daughters, Lola Graves and Brenda Adcock, both of Monticello; one brother, William Brown of Bastrop, LA; three sisters, Juanita Williams of Monticello, Mary Robertson of Bastrop, LA and Cherie Brown of Muskogee, OK; nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
