She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. She was a member of Mensa, a guardia adlitem for children and was a volunteer for the Navel Red Cross. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bobby Lawson.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Ray Lawson of Tarpon Springs, FL; one son, Craig Alan Lawson and wife, Brandi of Tarpon Springs, FL; one daughter, Sherry Lawson Stringfellow and husband, Phillip of Dermott; three sisters, Billie Jo Jones, Mary Petrie and Donna Hill; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
