I haven't been in the family but a few years but it didn't take me long to know what a fine man, gentleman and Christian Billy Doss was. I was proud to call him my brother-in-law and my friend. If you will lean on the Lord like he did HE will give you the peace and comfort that only HE can at this most difficult of times. Please know you are in my heart and prayers. If you ever need someone to talk to, just a friend or a shoulder I'm here for you.

When we were young he taught me to make fudge. When he drove the school bus his senior year he gave me nickles for cokes. When we raised our families we saw each other when we could. Then he came back home and we saw each other often. After Bill died I saw him every day and sat beside him at church. He was my strength, my friend and my confidente for so many years. If I needed a driver or anything else, he was it. With one phone call my heart was shattered. My consolation is knowing that he is with a loving God that he loved so much and I know one day we'll have our talks again. To his sons, whom I love so much, I can say "you had the best". God will see us all through this as long as we trust and believe. May HE give you all the peace and comfort that only HE can at this extremely difficult time.
I love you all, Aunt Carole
